Hi Im Jayne aged…but that’s just a number lol , been married
to Steve for 4 yrs in August
we have 5 children between us Only Daniel lives with us ,the middle boy Andrew studies at Sheffield university , Vicky the youngest daughter is going to Swansea uni in September , Kirsty the oldest daughter is trying to find job as she has left Swansea uni with a degree but no luck finding anything suitable ,she is a manager in local shop and Becky is between jobs, hopefully going back to college in September ..
I’m working as a checkout chick in Asda and been there for 5
yrs now , next week I’m starting a city and guilds in retail management and
also have gained first aider
qualification which I will have to renew in 2 years time ..J. I have made a lot of
good friends from work as I’m quite shy around people I don’t know and hate
talking to people but my job has helped as I have to talk to the customers ,
also my hubby as helped me as he’s given me the confidence to be myself and to
like myself as well.
I love any excuse not to wear my uniform and since we raise
loads of money for various charities its worth it, have also baked for Children
In Need days but sadly no pic as the evidence was eaten . This yr I’m dressing
up as a rock and roll chick for Tickled Pink day and I’m attempting to make my
skirt and this is coming from a person who cannot sew a button on , my mum in
law will be helping though thankfully
I love walking and will be starting up once again in the
next few weeks as the weather will be getting better I hope we walk for about 5
miles it takes us about 2 hrs but we don’t stop laughing till we get home , also
we like to meet up somebody house get a takeaway and fix the world to rights a
drink or 2 does help as well . Used to take my dogs for a walk but that duty
has been delegated to hubby as they are too strong for me to handle
They are like children (Ronnie to the left, Neo to the right)- full of naughtiness and mischief it
tickles Steve how I say good “nite sleep tite ,be good”, and they look so sad
when we go up to bed and leave them downstairs then when we go down in the
morning they are so pleased to see us its like having about 20 dogs in the house .
I have been doing x stitch for about 15 yrs in total but
stopped doing it for awhile and its only in the past 3 yrs I have picked it up
again and love it , it relaxes me and gives me great satisfaction to see a project
from start to finish even though on times I get daunted with it on times
Still can't do French knots either to my despair At the moment I’m doing 2 projects the one is taking me forever to do its been about a yr doing it now but I’m easily sidetracked and have done loads of others in the meantime and just started a snow leopard which hopefully will be done in about 2mths if I stay on track with it lol .
Both are work in progress, make the one VERY slow work in progress!
I also love reading and I steal hubby's kindle as our local library has closed down, can read up to 2-3
books a week but find it cuts into my stitching time so I’m torn between my
hobbies, not too fussed on the tv ,hate the soaps but don’t mind watching
wildlife programmes or quiz shows as well but that’s about it , like listening
to music but gentle music since my job is noisy and the step son loves really
loud heavy metal etc grrrrrr and has to have it loud as he can, my poor
neighbours .
Lovely blog ppst Jayne. Keep it up x
